An amazing place to go to if you want to stay for about 2 nights with a group of friends. Not is it only within walking distance to the Railway Station in Kandy, it is quite close to the KCC as well not to mention notable landmarks such as the Temple of the Tooth. The staff is friendly and service is superb, and the food and lodging is very well worth the reasonable price. Highly recommend if you want to hang out a few days with your friends.

Really friendly staff. Excellent hygiene standards. Superb breakfasts. Close to the local train station, with spacious rooms respective to the number people staying in one, definitely 100% recommended.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa 92. The hotel is comfortable, clean and well maintained. It is conveniently located closed to the Kandy city centre. Can be a bit tricky to access, especially during the hectic rush hour that chokes the city, and clogs the main street where it is located. The best aspect is the wonderfully warm staff, in particular Rohan who was extremely helpful, kind and considerate. We’d also highly recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast, one of the best we’ve had during our vacation. Fresh made coconut roti, excellent dhal curry and a supremely flavourful sambal (especially when Rohan offered use a spicier version with fantastic chili heat!

Door locked 21.30!

Arrived just after 9pm went to room and came back down to go out to buy something to drink. The door was locked! Both guys working had gone to bed! I rang the bell at reception noone came. In the mean time another gueat came back to the hotel and couldn't get in! He was ringing the doorbell also for over 10 minutes before someone finally came. The owner told me it's late and if I want juice I should buy only from that shop across the road and he will wait for me to come back if not he lock the door and goodnight. I bought my juice quickly and was locked back inside the hotel again. Felt like being in prison not on holidays! Fan in room also extremely loud! Checked out the next morning. Only positive the bathroom was clean.

We stayed in a private room with a bathroom. A.C. worked well, too well in the night when we didn’t have a duvet! Wi-fi was temperamental and the tv didn’t work, but all in all the room was good. Shower was fine and the breakfast was amazing. The host was very helpful, and always happy to help. Location, it is a 20 minute walk to the train station (don’t know why some people on here are saying it is 2 mins, it is 20min walk and 4/5mins by tuktuk). It is very close to the bus stop, which appears to go everywhere in kandy. It is 10/15min walk to the temple of the tooth.
